Webinar Features ‘Thinking Like the Web’

“Thinking Like the Web: A Conversation with Jon Udell” will be hosted online by the free online course, “Connected Courses,” Oct. 23.

udell-300Udell is an author, information architect, software developer and new media innovator. “He’s on a mission to bring the surprising effectiveness of ‘thinking like the web’ to non-techies everywhere,” said W. Gardner Campbell, vice provost for Learning Innovation and Student Success and associate professor of English at Virginia Commonwealth University and a Connected Courses instructor who will interview Udell on the webinar.

The webinar is part of Unit 3 — “The World Wide Web From Concept to Platform to Culture” — of the six-unit Connected Courses class. The unit is being taught by CampbellLaura Hilliger, training and curriculum lead at Mozilla Foundation; Kim Jaxon, assistant professor of English at Chico State; Chris Mattia, director of academic technology at Cal State Channel Islands; and Howard Rheingold, digital media expert and educator.
